bobby is a pancake fanatic

anyone who knows him knows that

me on the other hand 

not so much

but we got this fun pan that is changing my mind about pancakes though

the fancy name for it is ebelskivers

but as seen on tv and bobby likes to refer to it as pancake puffs

it really is so fun

and i like it alot

and even better bobby gets his pancake fix

but so i cant sleep in anymore thanks to the bakery 

so guess what! i wasnt lazy 

and cooked!

i dont know why i havent wanted to cook for the last week

because i have wanted to for the last two months

actually i do know why i havent cooked

eeeeee so excited

but i got up and made bobby pancakes

he was delighted

but if you like pancakes

you should get one of these pans

you can buy a fancy one for like 40

or the as seen on tv for 20

and on a side not today me and bobby went on a walk up to the park

we passed the senior citizen center

and on the billboard it said

"senior swim party"

......what in the world

that just sounds bad

and gross

and bad

'modge' podge

i have had these letters for a while now

it has been my plan the entire time to recover them

so they could look cute on my bookshelf

i think they are okay 

i might re do them again

but it was just the wooden letters i found at the DI/thrift store

and then i put fun paper on them

so bobby and i went michaels and we each picked out a paper for our letter

it was funny because after they were done 

bobby asked why his had flowers on it 

he picked it out

its not my fault he doesnt like to shop and look around haha

so that is why his has flowers

and then when we went to walmart to get supplies

i stated that i needed 'modge podge'

of course bobby is a boy 

and said wtf is 'modge podge'

and then he asked how do you even spell that

and i told him t-h-a-t... jk bad joke

well he brought me to a sad realization that it is 'mod podge'

so now im with bobby and ask 

what is the world does 'mod podge' mean haha

pizza pizza pizza

so i promise i wasnt lazy again

okay maybe a little bit 

maybe a lot

but we really have deemed friday night pizza night

you see bobby would eat pizza for every meal 

so its easy and he loves it

we went to pizza pie cafe because they were having a facebook special

the place is a buffet of every kind of pizza, pasta and salad bar 

they have dessert pizza too

it really is sooo good

and the pizza isnt bad at all 

and the best thing was that we got the fb special and $4 coupon 

so it only cost us $7 instead of 14!

and it was delicious

and bobby was happy

win win

oh and i didnt have to cook ha

his and her nachos

so i finally cooked.

well kinda

i grew up eating nachos like this

and me and bobby are mexican food junkies

so we have nachos for dinner a couple of times now

because i am lazy and they delicious

so guess which nachos are whose haha

yep the ones that were careful put together are mine

and then one that are just melted with cheese and beans and stuff mixed together are his

he sure is cute

j dawgggsss

so i havent felt like cooking at all this week

thus we had pizza on friday

applebees saturday

del taco sunday

cooked monday but it sucked and bobby didnt like it

burger supreme last night

and so tonight i decided that j dawgs sounded much better than what i planned

conviently enough

j dawgs is right on the way home

nom nom nom

its so good

but only the real deal there 

knock off j dawgs isnt very good

neither is just the sauce with lame dawgs

and eating there makes my mom so jealous

i just watched a video about jdawgs 

it was pretty heart warming

so good new

bobby got a new job paying rather well

yayayayayay!!!

and its raining 

and thundering so loud outside

i think ive jumped from surprise 

like three time at least because the thunder is so loud

but yay for actual moisture in this desert

the last few times it has rained 

it only does for like a couple minutes

or itll rain really hard more north 

and by the time it gets to our house

it stops

we get to go home to colorado next week

I have a bad problem.
i love lemon water
places that have tons of lemons just there for you to use
are the best

ie. burger supreme where we had dinner
and shakes mmmm

i think its not really that lemony
but bobby disagrees
and so does everyone else

maybe i am a freak
but i do tell you that one of my dearest best friends growing up loved lemon water too
and bobbys old boss does too

so ha all you haters
hate the game not the playa

in all reality
i should probably kick the habit
if i want to have teeth for the rest of my life

but for realz
teeth are for losers.

so utah has this weird holiday that no one else in the united states really celebrates....
pioneer day
it is great that i dont have to work
but really everything is closed and thats kinda dumb
a friend of mine was speculating that someone just had a ton of left over fireworks
and decided it would be great to have another holiday that was exactly like the 4th
except celebrating pioneers of course ha
well me and bobby did our fire works
which i think is so much fun
except for the bugs
and they may just be little ones
not bit aerial ones but its still really fun

when we were picking out what to buy

i kept asking him what was best

he said he didnt know and he only knew about fire crackers haha

 they all kinda do the same thing

but i thought this was all really fun
maybe it is just because i grew up in colorado
where fireworks are strictly banned

and i did so good this time!
i didnt burn myself at all!

today at church we sang this song

which is of course pioneer related

(utah is weird. no where else do they celebrate pioneer day 

but hey i will take a day off work thats nice)

it was so funny 

because everyone was struggling so badly

and the organist had problems playing it

it makes you wonder why they even choose songs like this

even the counselor on the stand was cracking up 

because it was so horrible

and its funny because whenever bobby hears bad singing

he just sings right along worse making fun of them

using up the last of the wedding gifts

For our wedding, a good friend of mine/old young women's leader/ old babysitter gave me and bobby a spa finder coupon. 

so we decided we wanted to go get a couples massage

neither of us had ever had a massage before so we were both excited

i think we both enjoyed the experience until a while after wards.

i am so sore

it is ridiculous like every muscle in my body hurts so bad

my feet hurt non stop 

i guess that is their scheme to get you to come back

"she bruised me and i know she felt the huge knot in my leg and then pushed so hard on it"

we had went to applebees last month and they have a promotion where if the manager doesnt come talk to you, you get a free $10

well we got lucky

so after our massage we went and used our certificate

and this is my brain child.

i love buffalo wings

so i asked them to 'buffalo-ify' my chicken strips

genius i must say

he got a salad which didnt have enough dressing on it
but still yum
and then we came home and made milk shakes
yum yum

love date nights with my bee
we just need to come up with more things to do in this city

its hard because in colorado we have all sorts of things to do
but we dont have a lot of ideas for here

oh well
give it time
or at least give it a couple months before we are back in school and too busy haha

interesting...

the massage place we went to was down stairs underneath a grocery store

while it was nice 

the set up was kinda weird

and the had these ceiling things to cover the uglyness

it sucked because we had to wait ten minutes for our massage-ers 

and then they shorted us ten minutes

gay.

we did some for the 4th.

it was so much fun

thus why we bought more!

cant wait.

Shirley's Homemades Bakery. 5am.

yes 5 am. thats what time i get to work

and that means i have to get up at 4:30am.

and after the bakery i work on campus till 5pm

it is really horrible. 

probably just so horrible because this whole last year before working here

i never had to be up earlier than noon and so i didnt have to go to bed until 2am

and bobby doesnt have to get up either so that makes it hard to get up

oh well

it really is a lot of fun working there and i enjoy it

its always been my dream to work at a bakery

now we just need to start making cupcakes

and my full dream will have been met

soon!

Harry Potter? (said with British accent)

Bobby and I bought our tickets back a while ago

because of course we knew we wanted to go to the midnight premier

i have been to ever harry potter midnight premier for everything since i can remember

and its so crazy because the first movie came out when i was in 3rd grade

i am really a little sad it is over 

but i guess it was good while it lasted

we got to the theater at 7pm and waited all that time
it wasnt too bad but my butt was definitely sore from sitting on the tile

I dressed up as Prof Trelawney which i thought was pretty good for putting together in 5 minutes
i took that scarf off in the theater and lost it though :(

We finally made it into the theater! and got perfect seats

I think the movie was pretty good

they definitely could have made it into one movie

but i guess it was good

also going to midnight premiers in utah sucks

i miss colorado so much

people are just dumb in utah

and like no one would shut up 

and they cheer at every little thing

so annoying

we got home after the movie at like 3am

and i had to work the bakery that morning at 5

and then i slept through my alarm

so i was really tired

but i still only got 2 hours of sleep 

and then i went to work at BYU after the bakery

friday night i slept 15 hours i was so tired

but i would say it was completely worth it :)

So this last week my dad and sister came up to visit
my sister was getting her wisdom teeth out which sucks for her
but they paid her $250 so i really dont feel bad for her

while they were here we went to the Bean Museum here at BYU
now its really the Life Science Museum
but for some reason it got named the Bean museum in my mind

I had never been and i have to say it was pretty good
It just a bunch of stuffed animals
but then they have live reptile shows every night too

The front door was so cool

it was a bunch of carved out animals

There was this really cool butterfly collage

all made of butterflys!

and Bobby said that face was a face of sadness for all the dead animals
Pretty fun i have to say :)
we will def go back when my mom comes to visit!

as horrible as it is, bobby and i are suckers for fast food

mainly panda express and del taco

but we have a new favorite thing we like to eat

let me warn you with the same words bobby told me.

"this food is not for the faint of heart dear. 

this is professional stoner food."

i introduce you to the "mcbitchen"

yup. you order one mcdouble with mac sauce and one hot and spicy. (only $2!)

you then take apart the mcdouble and place the spicy patty in between the mcdoubles

(i guess to be a true stoner mcbitchen you are supposed to put the whole mcspicy bun and all in there)

yes. it is artery clogging.

yet it is very very delicious.

just trust me.

so yes. you see our secret weakness.
