viva las honeymoon

for our honeymoon we decide to go to Vegas
my parents own a time share so we were able to stay for a week at anywhere Marriott had open
we contemplated going to Florida but the plane trip alone would cost so much
so we decided to drive to Vegas and spend money on doing fun things!

We stayed in the Marriott Grande Chateau
(which i shouldve taken pictures of but didnt, silly me)
It was right off the strip and so nice!
Outside Paris over looking the Bellagio fountains pool
The first day we got there we were both so exhausted from traveling all day and then from all of the go go go of the wedding so we ordered in pizza and relaxed in the motel
Paris
The second night we were there we went and ate lunch at the Bellagio buffet. It was amazing all of the food and even how delicious it was. That night we went and watched the Sirens at Treasure Island and the go to go see Cirque du Soliel!!! I was so excited. All day after we had bought our tickets I just kept saying "im so excited for tonight!" It was really amazing.

Inside of the Ventian by the Grand Canal, so pretty
The second night we went and saw The Phantom of the Opera. This was the show bobby really wanted to see but I really wasnt that excited about going to the show just because 1) i hadnt heard the greatest things baout it and 2) i had no idea what it was about. But i do have to say the theatrics were amazing. I would go see it again just to see the first five minutes of the chandelier swinging around.
and the best thing about going is that we got $300 tickets for free! Marriott comped the tickets to us just for staying at their motel! and they also gave us a $50 Visa gift card too. I know it was pretty dang sweet.

You werent supposed to take pictures in the arena and
so when we asked a guy next to us to take our picture he acted so weird about it

The next night we went to the Tournament of Kings. It was so cool. This was a Bobby chosen show, and I am glad he talked me into it. It was a dinner show, and it was as if you were in Medieval times. You ate all your food with your hands and it was all Medieval-y food. Everyone had a cornish hen and you had big mugs you drank out of. It really was a lot of fun.

The Tournament of Kings Stadium
And the horses in the actual show were so well trained. It was really cool.

Outside of the Excalibur
The next day we went to the Adventuredome at Circus Circus. Sadly, Bobby and I were really disappointed. That end of the strip is just so ghetto and run down

New York New York
Our last night in Vegas, we went and saw another Cirque du Soleil show. It was so much fun and so funny. and so talented too.
looking down the strip at night
the weather was so hot while we were there too. but it was nice and it made coming back to utah not quite so bad

So excited for his cheese cake
one night we got dessert at this little cafe in Paris. It was so cute. I loved it. I just loved the whole atmosphere of the little shops at Paris.
cheesecake and pistachio strawberry :)
Bobby was so excited for the cheesecake and wanted more after he was done. I tell  you this boy is obsessed with his cheesecake hahah

we had a great time. i dont know if vegas would be our first choice to vacation again but it was definitely enjoyable. love this boy. he made it all the better.
